Common questions about Midnight Private Servers

01

Are there any Midnight private servers?

Not as a stable progression expansion yet. Midnight launched on retail in March 2026, and emulation of the 12.x client is at a very early stage: a few experimental projects exist, but none we know of lets you level to 90 and raid The Voidspire reliably. We list Midnight servers here as soon as owners submit them and they pass review.
02

How long until Midnight private servers are playable?

There is no date. Modern expansions have taken years to reach private servers, and each one adds systems that have to be scripted from scratch. For Midnight that includes player housing, the Prey system and the new Devourer Demon Hunter spec. Expect small sandbox or RP projects first and progression realms much later.
03

What should I play instead of a Midnight private server?

For recent content, the Dragonflight page has a few small 10.x projects. For a modern expansion with real populations, Legion has the largest populations of any post-Cataclysm expansion. Fans of Quel'Thalas can also revisit the original blood elf zones on The Burning Crusade servers.
04

What is the max level in Midnight?

Level 90. Midnight is set in a remade Quel'Thalas, with Eversong Woods, Zul'Aman, Harandar and the Voidstorm, and launched with three raids: The Voidspire, The Dreamrift and March on Quel'Danas.
05

Can I list my own Midnight server on DivineTop?

Yes. Register as a server owner and add your server through the owner portal; once approved it will appear on this page and in the main list.

Where Midnight emulation stands

Midnight launched on retail in March 2026, and private server emulation of the 12.x client has only just begun. A few experimental projects run early builds, but none we know of offers a stable realm where you can level to 90, explore the remade Quel'Thalas and raid The Voidspire with working encounters. When an owner submits a Midnight server and it passes our review, it appears on this page.

Before you download a client for a Midnight project, check what actually works: whether quests in Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman are scripted, whether dungeons can be completed, and how often the team ships fixes. A server's reviews and news posts on DivineTop are a good place to start.

Why it takes so long

Every modern expansion reaches private servers years after retail, and each one adds more to rebuild. Midnight brings player housing with shared neighborhoods, the Prey hunting system, the Devourer Demon Hunter spec and the Haranir allied race on top of everything from The War Within and Dragonflight. Volunteer teams have to script all of it from packet captures. Expect sandbox and roleplay projects first, and full progression realms much later, if at all.

What to play instead

For recent content on a private server, the Dragonflight servers page has a few small 10.x projects, and the War Within page explains where 11.x stands. For a modern expansion with real populations, Legion has the largest of any post-Cataclysm expansion. Missing Silvermoon? The original blood elf zones are waiting on The Burning Crusade servers.

Running a Midnight project yourself? We will list it. Add your server through the owner portal and it will appear here as soon as it is approved.
