What to Expect on a PVE Cataclysm Realm
On a PVE realm, player vs. player combat is optional. You must manually flag yourself for PVP to be attacked by opposing players in the open world. This allows for a more relaxed leveling and questing experience.
At level 85, Cataclysm endgame content includes raids such as Blackwing Descent, Bastion of Twilight, Firelands, and Dragon Soul. With 2-5X, your progression speed toward this content will vary - with 2-5X your leveling experience will be faster than the original game, letting you reach endgame content sooner.

How to Play on BearWoWCTM
- Download the Cataclysm client. You need a World of Warcraft Cataclysm client (patch 4.3.4) to connect. Our Cataclysm client download guide has direct download links and setup instructions.
- Create an account. Visit the server's website (linked in the info panel above) and register a new account.
- Set the realmlist. Open the
realmlist.wtffile in your WoW client folder and replace the contents with the realmlist shown in the server info panel above. You can click the copy button to grab it instantly. - Log in and play. Launch the WoW client, enter your account credentials, and select the realm to start playing.
